The MDSCN111 smart alarm from Universal Security Instruments is a 4-in-1 system that provides protection against smoke, fire, carbon monoxide, and natural (methane) gas. It uses Universal Smoke Sensing Technology (Ionization and Photoelectric) to detect both fast flaming fires and responds 87% faster to slow smoldering fires. This 120V alarm is ideal for both replacement and new installations. Installation is easy, as the bracket can be mounted onto a standard wiring junction box. It is great for use in apartments, houses, and mobile homes. The 9-volt alkaline back-up battery will provide comfort even during a power outage. When it is time to be replaced, an end-of-service life warning will sound.
