The BRK First Alert SC6W01 is a hardwired combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm designed to help protect residential spaces from both fire and CO hazards in one installed device. It uses photoelectric smoke-sensing technology and an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor, with a 10-year service life and an 85 dB horn at 10 feet.
This model operates on 120V AC power and includes replaceable AA battery backup, helping maintain protection during power interruptions. Its interconnect capability allows compatible alarms to sound together across the home, making it a strong option for bedrooms, hallways, living areas, multi-level homes, remodels, and hardwired alarm replacement projects.
