The BRK First Alert CO9B10D is a battery-powered carbon monoxide alarm designed for long-term standalone CO protection without hardwiring, outlet placement, or routine battery replacement. Its sealed 10-year lithium battery provides continuous detection for the life of the alarm, while the tamperproof sealed powercell cannot be removed.
This model includes a backlit digital display that gives users clear visibility of CO level information and operating status. In standby mode, the display can show the current room temperature, making it a practical option for bedrooms, hallways, apartments, rental units, and other residential spaces where easy-to-read CO monitoring is preferred.
The CO9B10D uses an electrochemical CO sensor and includes Peak Level Memory to recall the highest carbon monoxide level detected. It is listed to the UL 2034 standard, sounds an 85 dB alarm at 10 feet, and is backed by a 10-year limited warranty.
