The USI USI/NGCO/10YR is a combination natural gas and carbon monoxide alarm designed to help protect homes from two serious household hazards in one compact unit. It monitors for methane gas leaks from sources such as stoves, furnaces, water heaters, and gas lines, while also checking for dangerous carbon monoxide levels with an electrochemical CO sensor.
Its sealed 10-year lithium battery allows wire-free installation without an outlet or hardwiring, making it a practical option for kitchens, utility rooms, basements, laundry areas, apartments, townhomes, and other residential spaces near fuel-burning appliances. The alarm provides distinct sound patterns to help users tell natural gas alerts apart from CO alerts, plus a loud 85 dB horn, visual LED alert, Test/Silence button, and end-of-service notification.
