Designed for both new and replacement wall installations, this Lambro 4-inch white plastic exhaust J-channel hood includes an 11-inch pipe and fits standard 4-inch openings. The unit features an integrated spring-controlled damper that seals against outdoor elements and only opens under exhaust pressure from a dryer or bath fan. Its removable screen provides a 13.3-square-inch net-free area to minimize back pressure, which expands to 18 square inches if the screen is removed—though regular internal cleaning is vital to prevent lint buildup. Constructed from UV-resistant polymer resin to resist sun damage, the vent is also compatible with plastic-specific paints after proper surface preparation.
