The HandiFoam P31003 Gasket Foam is a flexible, low-pressure, one-component polyurethane foam sealant developed for sealing between drywall and framed walls. Its straw-applied formulation allows professionals to create a continuous foam gasket along framing surfaces, helping reduce air leakage at these connections.
Designed for professional construction and drywall installation, the foam is compatible with common construction substrates and provides a convenient solution for improving the continuity of a building's air barrier. Its controlled application makes it particularly useful for sealing framing connections before or during drywall installation.
The 14 oz can provides up to 1.85 cubic feet of free-rise foam. Depending on the bead diameter, theoretical linear coverage ranges from approximately 195 to 778 feet. The formulation cures in approximately 30 minutes at room temperature and is cuttable after one hour.
HandiFoam Gasket Foam is GREENGUARD Gold Certified and has been tested according to ASTM E84, with a Flame Spread Index of 5 and Smoke Developed Index of 5. It is intended for professional use and should be applied in accordance with the manufacturer's operating instructions and safety guidelines.
