Conservation Mart Return Policy

We have an easy 30 day return policy. To initiate a return, please complete the Return Merchandize Authorization Form and check your email for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to returning products. After your RMA number is received, please return the item(s) in original packaging, and write the RMA outside the package.

General Product Returns

  • Eligible Time Period: 30 days from delivery date
  • Non-Eligible Products: caulks, foams, mastic, tapes, conservation kits, clearance/hot buy items and items not in original condition

We want you to be satisfied with the products purchased from us, but we are unable to refund products that have been installed, for which the original packaging has been destroyed, or that are otherwise not in original condition and resalable. You are responsible for returning products in a safe, good condition, so please pack returns carefully. You may want to ensure returns of valuable merchandise. Upon receipt, a credit equal to the product purchase price will be issued to you through the same payment method you used to pay for the order. A 15% restocking fee may apply to some lighting and electronic products. This fee is waived if a new order is placed at the time of return.

Note: In order to keep our prices low we are unable to issue a refund for any return postage fees. Both the original shipping fee and the return postage fee are non-refundable. The buyer is always responsible for return shipping costs. We will not refund any shipping fees.

Incorrectly Shipped Orders

Depending on the original method of shipment, we will either issue a UPS CallTag or send a prepaid return address label for you to return the incorrectly shipped merchandise. We will ship a new order for the correct merchandise.

Damaged Product Returns

Eligible Time Period is 5 business days from delivery date.
If an order has arrived damaged you should notify Conservation Mart within 5 business days. All packaging should be kept because the carrier may choose to inspect the damaged goods and shipping box at the delivery address. We may or may not request return of the damaged goods. If we do request that the goods be returned, Conservation Mart will either issue a UPS call tag or provide a prepaid return address label to be used for returning those items damaged in transit. Conservation Mart will replace the product(s) at no charge. If the total amount of the product for replacement is under $25, a refund, rather than a replacement will be offered to the customer. Shipping small one item packages drastically increases the chances for damage. We will not be responsible for damaged items shipped outside of the US/Canada.

Defective Product Returns

Eligible Time Period is 1 month from delivery date (unless otherwise noted).
Depending on the original method of shipment, we will either issue a UPS CallTag or send a prepaid return address label to you for return of the merchandise. A credit will be issued when the defective items are received. You are not responsible for the cost of return of defective merchandise when a UPSCall Tag or prepaid return address label is used. If the merchandise fails during the manufacturer's product warranty, but after one year from the purchase date, Conservation Mart reserves the right to refer you to the manufacturer for replacement of the failed product.

Undeliverable Addresses

If an order is returned to Conservation Mart marked as undeliverable, we will contact you for a valid address. You will be responsible to pay the cost of the returned package. You will also be charged for the actual cost of shipping even if you initially received promotional shipping. Conservation Mart is not responsible for incorrect addresses, 3rd delivery attempts or any other customer created errors.
