The KN-COB-B-LPM (9C05-LP) carbon monoxide alarm from Kidde is battery operated and works to protect you and your loved ones from the dangers of carbon monoxide. This alarm uses advanced electronic components and includes a slide-out battery door. This allows for quick and easy access to the batteries. In addition, the 9C05-LP carbon monoxide alarm includes a safety feature that makes closing the door without first installing batteries difficult. On the inside cover of the battery door, you will find a quick reference guide instructing what to do when the alarm sounds. This alarm is simple to install and is suitable for use in all living areas. It features a 10-year life as well as a 10-year limited warranty.

- Green LED – Flashes every 30 seconds to indicate the unit is operating properly. The green LED will also flash before a CO reading is taken and when any button is pressed.
- Red LED – When a dangerous level of carbon monoxide is detected the red LED will pulse and a loud alarm pattern will sound. The carbon monoxide alarm pattern is 4 short beeps, followed by 5 seconds of silence, followed by 4 short beeps with a corresponding red LED flash. This cycle will continue for 4 minutes and then change to 1 cycle every minute until the device is reset or the CO is eliminated.
