This closed cell, high density foam tape from Macklanburg-Duncan is a cost-effective weatherstripping tool for use on the bottom of window sashes and on door jambs. The weatherstripping provides minimal compression, and in doing so creates a tight seal. To install, start by cleaning and drying the surface for application (the temperature must be above 40 degrees Fahrenheit). Next, unroll the foam tape and press it into place. After, use scissors or a utility knife to trim the weatherstrip to the desired length, and peel off the paper backing. The color of the foam tape is gray.
