Twist and pull, and the bulb comes right out of the socket. This dimmable 15 watt GU24 spiral offers 900 lumens of light, which is equivalent to a 60 to 75 watt incandescent. The lamp will dim to 30% of full light output when used in conjunction with dimming controls rated for use with incandescent light bulbs.

Did You Know?
If every US household makes its next lightbulb an Energy Star-rated CFL:
- We will save more than $800 million on our national energy bill and 8.4 billion kWh of energy!
- That's enough to power over 808,000 homes for one year – about the number of homes in Boston, Denver, and San Francisco combined!
- In pollution terms, it would be like removing the pollution of 1.2 million cars for one year!
|
* According to www.eia.doe.gov, as of 02/2009, the national average of cost per kWh is $0.0898. Using this and above mentioned figures, cost of savings calculation as follows: { [ ( 60 watts - 15 watts ) x 8000 hours ] / 1000 kWh } x $0.0898 per kW = $32.33 = Potential Electric Bill Cost Savings (per bulb)
