| This Globe enersaver 24 volt touch-screen thermostat offers a variety
of features to simplify the programming process, meaning you have to
spend less time adjusting the temperature, and have more time to
enjoying the comfort of home. This programmable thermostat allows for 4
events per day, 7 days a week, and a "copy" option to make initial
programming easy. The touch-screen allows for pin-point accuracy on a
menu-driven interface, and the adjustable screen contrast ensures
optimum visibility under any lighting condition.
During programming, you may associate each of the thermostat's
operation modes with one of 64 different backlit colors, making it easy
to tell at a glance what the system is doing based on the color of the
large 3.6" x 2.1" screen. With automatic changeover, the heating system
will engage the heating and cooling system as needed to maintain the
desired temperature.
Other features include an intermittent fan setting, helping save energy by operating the fan for just 10 minutes out of each half-hour; a vacation setting, allowing a switch to a more energy efficient mode without requiring repprogramming; a security setting, ensuring that programs stay set; a filter monitor, signaling a reminder when it is time to change the air filter; humidity control, through which the thermostat can help maintain the desired humidity level; and a simple mode, in which the display becomes an easy-to-read display showing just basic temperature and fan control options.
Finally, this thermostat has a patented feature called the Energy Watch Calculator,
that will monitor the compressor, furnace, and fan energy consumption
(kWh), calculating the real-time cost of running the HVAC system. You
can log and reset the Energy Watch Calculator each month to compare how
seasonal changes and thermostat settings can impact your energy costs.
This thermostat is compatible with most heating systems that require a
low voltage thermostat, including furnaces (oil, gas, electric,
hydronic), single stage heating & cooling, multistage heating and
cooling, heating only, cooling only, steam or gravity systems, heat
pump only systems, and heat pump systems with auxiliary heat. The
temperature accuracy rating is +/- 1.0 degrees Fahrenheit. |
