These are 4-pin replacement lamps for use in compact fluorescent torchieres, particularly those manufactured under the Lightwiz brand by Harmony Lighting. The 72 watt Lightwiz Cambridge torchieres (nickel or brass) and Lightwiz Amherst torchieres (black or white) use the 40 watt 2C lamp, while the Lightwiz Berkeley torchieres (gray, white or black) use one 58 watt 2-C lamp. Harmony's Dimmable Table Lamp (no longer made) uses one 40 watt 2-C lamp.
