| These AirCycler controls will "average" the air temperature conditions throughout a house by periodically turning on and off the central heating/cooling system fan. This can help to eliminate stagnant and uncomfortable air that a thermostat can't detect, improving the effectiveness of home heating, cooling, humidification, and/or filtration systems.
What is "smart" about the AirCyclers is that they only turn the central system fan on after a time internal during which the fan has not operated. Both the length of the "on time" and the "off internal" are user selectable from 1 to 199 minutes (in 1 minute increments). They can also be set to run on or off continuously. To install attach the AirCycler control to the air handler cabinet and wire it to the low-voltage thermostat wiring block inside the air handler. The AirCycler on/off function enables or disables the fan recycling function, but all thermostat control signals otherwise operate normally regardless of the AirCycler switch position.
Two models are available. The standard "FR" model, or the "FR-V". If a fresh air intake is conected to the system the FR-V will independently operate the outdoor air damper to draw fresh air into the house.
- Operating Voltage: 24 volts AC (30 volts AC max)
- Current draw: 0.07 Amps
