| This screw-in light sensor will allow a light bulb or flood in an exterior socket to turn on automatically at dusk. It will also help reduce wasted electricty by insuring that the light remains off during the day.
It is easy to install. First, verify that there is sufficient room to accomodate the control (its overall length is 6"). Then, simply screw the light sensor into a light socket, and screw a light bulb or reflector bulb into the light sensor. You can turn your existing wall switch to "on" during the day, and the light bulb or flood will remain off until dusk. You can then flip the switch to "off" in the evening when you no longer need the light to be on, or if you require all night operation leave the switch "on" and the light will automatically turn off at dawn.
This light sensor control is compatable with both incandescent and compact fluorescent light bulbs, reflectors, and floods.
