| This sophisticated electronic timer offers four modes, making it perfect for control of holiday lights, engine block heaters, pool pumps, or plug-in exterior lights. In manual mode you can turn the item on and off manually. In timed automatic mode you can program the timer to turn the item on and off once per day at a given time. In the temperature sensor automatic mode the timer will only turn the item on if the temperature is lower than 10 degrees Fahrenheit (-12 degrees Celsius), which is ideal for engine block heaters and gutter heating cables. Finally, in the light sensor automatic mode it will turn the item (i.e. holiday or garden lights) on if both the time setting has been reached and darkness has set in. Requires two AAA batteries (not included). |
