This solar walkway light fixture can be either pedestal mounted or hung, including the mounting option for either. During the day the solar panel charges the internal rechargeable nickel cadmium AA battery (5 volt, 20 milliamp). At dusk Intermatic's new technology white LED light source will cast a soft white light in the immediate vicinity of the fixture. When fully charged the light will run for up to 15 hours. Since this fixture does not require any wiring, it is easy to set up and ideal for remote locations. While this light will not produce nearly the mount of light as will low voltage or 120 volt path lights, but it will offer a decorative accent to paths and mark the locations of steps and the edge of a walk. This high quality fixture has a metal housing with a golden bronze finish and glass diffusers. The hanger is 28 inches high and the post is 12 inches high. The body of the fixture is 3.3 inches square. The "cap" is 5.3 inches square. The height of the fixture (not including the hanger or post) is 6.5 inches high.
