Philips Lighting's Energy Saver Bug-A-Way bulb has a special yellow filter to produce light which is difficult for many flying insects to see. As a consequence this bulb will attract fewer flying insects than will a conventional light bulb. For best results use the Energy Saver Bug-A-Way in areas where people congregate, and use a regular, whiter, light some distance away. Its light output is similar to that produced by a 40-60 watt incandescent light bulb.
