| If you are using dimmable Philips Lighting Earthlight or Marathon compact fluorescent bulbs you should also consider controlling those bulbs with this Leviton dimming control. This slide dimmer has been designed specifically for use with these Philips dimmable compact fluorescent bulbs.
The dimmer's smooth slide action will permit precise lighting levels to be set in the room. It is a single pole Decora style dimmer with built-in radio frequency filter to eliminate interference with sensitive electronic equipment in the vicinity.
Because of differences in the electronics of dimmable compact fluorescent bulbs, this dimmer may not work as well with dimmable compact fluorescent light bulbs from other manufacturers. Copper or copper clad wire is required, and the switch must be grounded. A Decora style cover plate is included.
