This MaxLite Dimmable Faux Can ceiling fixture simulates the appearance of an installed recessed down-light, while actually being flush-mounted to the ceiling. With the appearance of a conventional can trim kit, the Faux Can is a flat CFL light source behind a frosted diffuser, with a white finish, ballast within the trim, and a GU-24 base on the back. It uses a GU24 26 watt compact fluorescent lamp, which is roughly equivalent to the light of a 75 watt incandescent fixture. An adjustable mounting cross bar is included with each fixture.
