This R-40 reflector flood is suitable for use in non-dimming recessed cans. Being the same size and shape as an incandescent R-40 flood, in conventional depth cans this bulb will be flush with the face of the fixture. It uses a patented Air-Gap to help maximize bulb life in hot locations, and it has a frosted lens to help reduce glare.
