This fluorescent light bulb is suitable for installation in table lamps with harps which support the lampshade. The harp of a table table will fit between the bulb and the ballast of these uniquely designed General Electric light bulbs. The 39 watt unit is equivalent to a 100-150 watt incandescent lightbulb. Because the bulb component can detach from the center ballast, when the bulb finally burns out only the bulb portion will need to be replaced.
