| This digital timer from Sylvania allows for automatic control of landscape lighting, security and holiday lighting, and pool/spa pumps. It will plug directly into standard 3-prong wall outlet and permits up to 4 on/off settings per day, able to be set based on a 7-day period, 5 day work week, or 2 day weekend. It may also be programmed to operate on a random basis. In addition, you will be prompted to enter your telephone area code during initial programming, and the timer will then be able to turn on the connected load at sunset, automatically adjusting as the time of sunset changes throughout the year.
It has seven sockets, six controlled sockets and one non-controlled socket. Pressing the on/off button allows the controlled sockets to be turned on and off manually. The daylight savings time switch allows easy switching to and from daylight daylight savings time. The battery backup saves the program in memory, so the timer won't have to be re-programmed subsequent to a power outage (two CR2032 batteries included). The power cord is 24 inches long.
