| This digital wall-switch timer from Sylvania will replace most wall swithes, allowing for automatic control of lamps with up to 4 on/off settings per day, able to be set based on a 7-day period, 5 day work week, or 2 day weekend. It has a manually initiated off-timer, insuring the lights are turned off after 5 minutes. It may also be programmed to operate on a random basis, providing your home with a lived-in look when you're on vacation. In addition, you will be prompted to enter your telephone area code during initial programming, and the timer will then be able to turn on the connected lamp or appliance at sunset, automatically adjusting as the time of sunset changes throughout the year.
The daylight savings time switch allows easy switching to and from daylight daylight savings time. The battery backup saves the program in memory, so the timer won't have to be re-programmed subsequent to a power outage (two CR2032 batteries included).
