| Installing door bottom sweeps on exterior doors helps to prevent unwanted air exchanges through these doors. In addition, door sweeps also help stop dust, moisture, and insects from coming in. This standard AM Conservation door sweep is ideal for use on exterior doors that cross a smooth surface, such as tile or hardwood floors. It has a triple flange vinyl weatherstrip attached to an aluminum carrier, and seals gaps as large as 1/2 inch between the bottom of the door and the threshold. The aluminum carrier is paintable, and measures 36 inches in length. The door sweep comes with screws for installation on a steel or wood door. |
