"The 4 pin lamps are CFLs (compact fluorescent lights) with four pins at the base. They work in GX24q-1, GX24q-2 and GX24 compatible fixtures. These bulbs are typically 2700 degrees Kelvin and use 120 volts of power. 4 pin spiral bulbs are known as such as a result of their number of pins as well as the spiral design. The GX24q-1 base 4 pin spiral bulbs have a CRI of about 80, appearing white in color. GX24q-2 base 4 pin lamps at Conservation Mart have a triple tube style, and generally have the same CRI number as the GX24q-1 base. The GX24 4 pin spiral bulbs have a CRI of 84. This gives them a warm white color. These 4 pin lamps are all energy efficient and designed for specific fixtures."
